Letter from León Hernández, mayor of Cogeces del Monte, to Silverio Velasco, mayor of Cuéllar.

The author relates Silverio Velasco a violent episode occurred in Cogeces del Monte, in which a man called José Redondo was involved.

This letter was part of the proceedings of a lawsuit against José Redondo, resident in Cogeces del Monte (Valladolid), in the jurisdiction of Cuéllar (Segovia). José Redondo was accused of resisting arrest and of having wounded his neighbour, Lorenzo Niño, with a shotgun. The 3rd of October, 1812, more or less at eight p.m., José Redondo had a strong argument with his mother, Manuela Delgado, and his brother Fernando Redondo. This letter was written by the mayor of Cogeces del Monte to the mayor of Cuéllar, to inform him about what had happened.
